The Science of Possibility

Patterns of Connected Consciousness
by Jon Freeman & Juliana Freeman
This book offers a radical perspective uniting science with spiritual perspectives and alternative views of reality.
It provides a comprehensive view through physics, biology, psychology and human experience.

The result is a connected web that shows the patterns connecting consciousness to material existence in a way that reveals the non-ordinary reality of intuition, spiritual experience, alternative medicine as not just experience created by human minds, but as the ground base of reality that underpins and defines material existence.
It is common to paper over that divide with the statement “everything is energy”.
While true this does not respond to our deeper questions about who and what we are.
Everything that universe consists of rests in patterns of relationship.
Everything that we are lives in and influences those patterns.
This is the source of our potential and possibility.
The book is available in Hardcover & Kindle. Welcome to Possibility!
We know that material reality is formed
from energy, but what causes energy
to take the forms it does?
What does it mean for who we are
and what we can do?
"The Science of Possibility" brings together the best of accepted scientific knowledge with the full range and depth of alternative scientific views, complementary medicine and well-documented spiritual experience.

The book continues the tradition of Teilhard de Chardin’s “The Phenomenon of Man”, takes forward Gregory Bateson’s search for “The Pattern that Connects” and fleshes out the science of the Akashic field as proposed by Ervin Laszlo.
Accessible to the non-technical reader, it offers an Ecology of Being, a comprehensive and dynamic picture of what it might be to be fully human.

"If you have not read Jon Freeman's new book I strongly suggest you do so.
Jon thinks and acts from a wider arc than most of us (with)... deep and coherent insights, range of dealing with today's complex worlds and unique ability to identify many of the "dots" that most of us miss.
'The Science of Possibility' provides clear understanding of emerging "patterns of consciousness".
He will open your eyes to expanding notions of reality."

~ Dr. Don Beck.

I thought it was excellent. The way you wove together so many diverse strands of biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and so forth into a meaningful synthesis was terrific. I wish you great success with the book and I hope it gets many people to open up to the possibilities of 2nd tier thinking or the “science of possibility”.

~Joyce Kilmartin

"Deep wisdom, translated into intuitive understanding
I'm a futurist, stretching to see over the horizon. This book helped me understand the dynamics that are creating our future, and how to participate in creating our coming global cultural and economic evolution.
Many powerful understandings.
I especially liked the last two chapters where he pulls it all together and adds his vision of possibilities."

~P. Nelson

"In the book, Jon does a convincing job in bridging the gaps between physics and metaphysics, philosophy and science, chaos theory and fractals and the biological systems of the brain. He reminds us of what we have already known, that the universal macrocosm is within us and that if we tap into that infinite reservoir of "knowing" we can alter the course of humanity in many positive ways"

~ Ecovest

"I loved your book, and am taking it on holiday to read again. That's a big compliment!  You write with such clarity, but there is a drive and conviction to your writing which is really compelling. It almost had the momentum of a detective novel (!) in that I want to keep reading on and on"

~ Pam Gregory

I am very very pleased with this - and so you should absolutely be. I am very very impressed - a masterpiece introduction to "what is possible?" "

It is well-known that many shamanistic cultures experience direct connections with the spirits of plants and animals.  Assuming that you don’t regard that as illusion or projection, you might ask  - what is that for us and for today’s world?

There are “modern shamans” – people who work with that realm of connection.  In fact there are many – horse whisperers, plant spirit medicine practitioners for example.  There are well-known examples of people who garden in collaboration with nature, and books such as Dorothy Maclean’s “To hear the Angels Sing”, which describes how enormous vegetables were produced in the seemingly barren soils of Findhorn.  Machaelle Small Wright has given in-depth accounts of how she created the Perelandra garden.

There are also stories of animals – particularly horses - being used in healing.  There is a great story of one such in my Substack “A tale of a psychic horse”.  I also talk about nature spirits in the “What’s Nature to you” chapter of “What makes you YOU” and the chapter on shamanism in “The Science of Possibility”.

It is an inevitable outcome of the “information field” as a central theoretical theme in both books, that our ability to connect with what animates other parts of the living world will reveal itself in many ways.”

Your body is made of cells, which form organs and other systems. Anything in the world has sub-elements. Anything in the world is also part of a larger whole. This is the nature of holons, that they are identifiable, nested elements that we can choose to focus on, as we zoom in or out to the scale that we need.
“The whole context of Relational Being is that the universe is governed by a Field of Information. This includes the relationships we have with the flow of the universe in the sense of “God”, or “The Divine” or “The Force” or any equivalent term for the spiritual context”
