I view my life’s purpose as being to co-create the future of the planet and am excited by the many people who are eminent and whose diverse visions are leading the way . By profession I am a consultant in human emergence and organisational change. Emerging from a background in the design of information systems and 20+ years experience supporting systems-driven change, I now specialise in helping organisations to ensure the healthful alignment of their vision with the individual development of their staff. I also support the development of effective systems of governance and finding integral balance in organisational development.

Beyond my professional life I am an avid reader, devouring novels, science fiction, leading-edge scientific thinking, spiritual viewpoints and work-related texts whenever I can find the time.   I was once a professional french horn player, but now my musical loves are shown mainly as a listener, though I sometimes play my first instrument, the cello.   My main passions are for classical, jazz and various fusions, where I especially like Bela Fleck, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Bobby McFerrin and John McLaughlin - all people who break or simply disregard boundaries and all of whom exemplify what is known in Spiral Dynamics as “flex-flow”!   One day I hope to indulge my love for quality hi-fi.   I like to hear ALL of the music. 

Family, friends and community are also essential.  Juliana is central to my life and our very different ways of working are closely joined up.  We have two sons and I am both excited and nervous about  needing to find time for grandchildren.  Not just yet though. 

I am also Chair of Trustees for the Sheiling Trust, a multi-activity charity which operates a Steiner School, a biodynamic farm and provides a variety of support to learning disabled adults and children.  The Sheiling crosses the border between life and work, since their vision is in part a pioneering of healthy community forms and social renewal and they have become the hub of our neighbourhood.
