We should not underestimate the significance of the times we live in.   The ecological and economic issues indicate a crisis.  On the surface this appears as a set of practical issues to solve.  Something more fundamental lies beneath as the old breaks open for the new.

The shift taking place is one of understanding.   We have centuries-old belief systems which are so outdated that much of what be think about reality is quite untrue.  The words “paradigm shift” are regularly used and not always understood.   They mean that we are now required to unthink and unlearn many “truths” that we take for granted.  We cannot tweak or adjust them.  They require wholesale replacement. 

The book “God’s Ecology” is a comprehensive lay-persons guide to the new scientific world-view that we are entering into.  It contains the foundations of the message.   The publication of Plant Spirit Books brings that reality into the frame of reference for the next generation, who need an education that does not fill them with what used to be thought true.  The use and presentation of Spiral Dynamics fits the paradigm shift into an evolutionary map of human emergence and helps us understand the journey, the transition we are making, and our emerging value systems.

All other activities in presentation and media are aligned to this primary purpose.  We need new lenses to look at the world through.  We need fresh ways of describing what we see.  The new science and our fresh relationship with what we have traditionally thought of as the spiritual world are two facets of a single process.  We are engaging with a new understanding of human emergence, and with our future as participants in a dynamic and conscious evolution.
