Aligned Organisations

Coherent,  Aligned,  Resilient,   Emergent.      Making a complex world simple

 

There are two foundational aspects to the practice of aligned organisation; clear organisational vision, and involved, motivated people

All organisations evolve according to a natural developmental template.   When they get stuck at any stage, they can be helped to move into their next phase.  Development is responsive to the conditions in and around the organisation. When these change, development occurs naturally. 

The tools and experience I bring allow you to see what needs to happen next and to facilitate the necessary changes.  The diagram to the right represents the internal “stack” of operating systems.  We can measure where the organisation is positioned and map its next stages.  We can measure the individuals in the company and help them to develop in alignment.

The left-hand diagram is like an iron bar, with all its molecules pointing in different directions.   It exerts little influence on its surroundings.   When all the molecules in an iron bar are lined up the same way, it becomes magnetic and exerts a force.  In an aligned organisation, staff are helped to point in the same direction and their purpose fitted to the overall goals.  Our measurement tools enable us to know what must change for each person, and to assess progress.  This is Emotional Intelligence at the organisational level.
